During process design, GTC decided on appropriate wastewater treatment technologies based on wastewater characteristic and desired treated water quality. There are three major factors considered during determining arrangement of treatment units i.e., efficiency, cost and space availability.

Conceptual design and feasibility study

GTC provides a conceptual study to understand the overall wastewater concept design of wastewater system. We run thorough assessment of the technical and economic viability of water and wastewater treatment projects. This conceptual design and feasibility study provides a framework for evaluating new wastewater treatment facilities and optimizing existing ones. By considering all aspects from technical feasibility to social acceptance, sustainable and efficient wastewater treatment solutions can be developed.

Industrial Effluent Characteristics Study (IECS)

Global Tankcom provide a comprehensive Industrial Effluent Characteristics Study (IECS) completed with a detailed report for our client’s new or existing wastewater treatment plant. IECS will be carried out to determine the system capacity, necessity of upgrading the system, design, and modelling of a new system. The procedure to conduct the IECS is collection of samples every hour for 8 hours continuously for a minimum duration of 3 days. During the sample collection, the sample’s flowrate, pH and temperature need to be recorded. At the end of the 8 hours, mix the samples into a composite sample, then send them to a qualified lab for testing. This document required to be submitted to Department of Environment (DOE) in Written Notification submission as evidence for building a WWT plant.

Authorities-related documents submission

We help our clients to produce and submit the Written Notification, and Written Declaration as a mandatory application to DOE and ensure that they obtain an approval. DOE Written Notification or Second Schedule. Written Notification most crucial document that required to be submitted to Director General of DOE within 30 days before commencing any work or construction or IETS upgrading that would result in a new source of effluent discharge or a change in the quality and quantity of the effluent from an existing source. Any addition or abandonment of a unit process or unit operation requires written notification. Global Tankcom provides services in preparing the complete written notification submission as specified in the Second Schedule. Written Declaration or Third Schedule. The submission of third Schedule is to declare the WWTP has been designed and constructed according to the specification of the Guidance Document on the Design and Operation of IETS. As built drawings are required for this submission with the endorsement of relevant Professional Engineers (PE).
